The performance, marked by a ritualistic interplay between myself and the suffocating embrace of plastic, allegorises both the ecological decay and the internalised, social and political narratives of the female experience. The performances took place in Udine’s War bunker, where the public was invited to engage. My body's movements with the plastic through slow and fast inhales evolved into a dynamic dialogue, encapsulating the tensions between restriction and transformation, constraint and metamorphosis. I entered the performance in a complete state of presence “ for the material to inhabit me ”. What resulted was an introspective experience, an embodied inquiry of my own female experience within a contemporary landscape marked by ecological and societal complexities.
